Intense

Ashtanga Yoga

Astanga Yoga is a dynamic form of yoga, guided by active, audible breathing (Udjai breathing) and linked to the constant use of Bandhas (energy centers): Moola Bandha and Udyana Bandha.

Ashtanga Yoga is composed of different definite series of Asanas (postures) which were created by Patthabi Jois. We practice the primary & second series. The sequences are guided by a dynamic Udjai breath and connected with the constant use of the Bandhas (energy locks): Moola Bandha and Udyana Bandha.

A good physical condition is preferable to start, but adaptations can be made to ease the series for beginners.

Always ending with a 10 mn of total relaxation of the body, leading to the complete release of muscles, skin and nervous system where the body is completely passive but where the mind stays alert and present. A state of interior calm and peace is achieved, and an access to your inner space becomes possible.

At your place, you can get a private Astanga Vinyasa Yoga class, which will focus on your individual needs, respecting your injuries, according to your personal physical background.

Gentleness

Hatha Yoga

Hatha Yoga is a gentle form of yoga consisting of simple postures practised at a slow pace.

Hatha Yoga is accessible to all ages and suitable for all physical conditions. It is highly recommended for beginners who want to work on both flexibility and muscle strengthening.

The class consists of relatively simple standing, sitting and lying postures, the choice and order of which vary each time.

The class begins with simple breathing exercises (Pranayama) followed by several sun salutations adapted to each person’s level.

The class always ends with 10 minutes of total relaxation, leading to complete relaxation of the muscles, skin and nervous system. In this exercise, the body is completely passive, but the mind remains alert and present. A state of inner peace and calm is achieved, facilitating access to the inner space.

Chez vous, vous pouvez bénéficier d’un cours particulier de Hatha Yoga, qui sera adapté à vos besoins individuels, en tenant compte de vos blessures et de votre condition physique.

Unity

The power of the Universe will come to your assistance if your heart and mind are in Unity.

Lakota proverb

Serenity

In asana the mind has to reach inside to find a quiet space until a point comes where balance is felt.

Geeta Iyengar

Kindness

You can search throughout the entire universe for someone who is more deserving of your love and affection than you are yourself, and that person is not to be found anywhere.

Dynamic

Vinyasa Yoga

Vinyasa Yoga is a dynamic and fluid form of yoga that uses constantly changing sequences of asanas. Following the rhythm of their deep and conscious breathing, students alternate between fluid movements and static postures.

Free and flexible

Meditation

Did you know that the stiffest muscle is in your head?

Did you know that the least flexible muscle is in your head?

We are essentially limited by our minds. By learning to relax your mind, you will experience greater flexibility and freedom in your body, and you will be able to move fluidly in your practice.

Learn the tools of Mindfulness Meditation, a practice of freedom, joy and acceptance. Experience the healing power of smiling and allow your mind to become calm, harmonious and open.

By repeatedly trying to control the chaotic and endless activity of the mind, it gradually calms down, giving way to meditation.

At your residence, you can receive private meditation lessons, which can be supplemented with breathing exercises, Pranayama.

Asanas (yoga postures) can also be added to the session. They will be practised using a unique approach that integrates mindfulness meditation tools into the physical practice of yoga, allowing for fluid movements performed with lightness and joy.

When the mind smiles, the body flows

Strength

Pilates

Pilates was specifically designed to strengthen the deep abdominal muscles, lower back, and glutes. It strengthens the back and protects the spine.

A Pilates class consists of short series of quick, repetitive exercises, always performed from the “body’s energy center,” i.e., the abdominal belt.

Spécialement conçu pour renforcer les abdominaux profonds, les muscles du dos et des fessiers, le pilates fortifie le dos et protège la colonne vertébrale, évitant ainsi les problèmes de lombaires.

Pilates is the perfect complement to the intense stretching of yoga.

Pilates classes can also complement yoga practice (Yogalates classes).

You can book a private Pilates class at home, where the focus will be on your personal and individual needs, taking into account any physical issues you may have and in line with your level of experience.

Refreshing

Restorative Yin Yoga

Yin Yoga, Restorative Yoga and Relaxation Yoga are gentle, therapeutic forms of yoga. A class includes simple postures performed at a slow pace. These asanas bring calm and allow you to let go by soothing the body and mind.

This relaxing yoga consists of simple, invigorating restorative postures and is particularly recommended for relieving physical problems such as back pain, trapezius pain, etc. Students learn to relax by being fully aware of their breathing and physical sensations.

Yin Yoga emphasises holding asanas (postures) for several minutes in order to work on stretching the deeper connective tissues, the fascia. It also mobilises our joints and ligaments.

The class always ends with 10 minutes of total relaxation, leading to complete relaxation of the muscles, skin and nervous system.

Inspiring

Sukhita Yoga

Sukhita Yoga is a new and highly inspiring method of yoga. It creates a new path and opens up a new dimension to the practice.

Sukhita Yoga is a new and highly inspiring method of yoga. Created by Hugh Poulton and Sarah Haden, Sukhita Yoga places our inner awareness at the heart of the practice.

‘The stiffest muscle is the one between our ears’ (i.e. the brain), Hugh always says. Our mental attitude affects our physical responses. When faced with a difficult asana, for example, can we keep smiling during practice and find joy in every movement, every breath?

The transitions between Asanas are as important as the Asanas themselves. We learn to use our energy centre to release tension and move with greater lightness and stability. By moving from our centre, like dancers, we allow the body to express its natural balance, and our movements become more fluid. We learn where to focus our attention in order to remain centred and grounded, relaxing our mind in life as well as in our practice.

The class always ends with 10 minutes of total relaxation, leading to complete relaxation of the muscles, skin and nervous system. In this exercise, the body is completely passive, but the mind remains alert and present. A state of inner peace and calm is achieved, facilitating access to the inner space.

At home, you can get a private Sukhita Yoga class that will meet your needs, respecting your limitations, based on your personal physical background and in line with your level of experience.

Moderne

Yogalates

Yogalates is a modern form of physical training that combines Pilates exercises with yoga postures and movements. It combines the benefits of both practices.

Yogalates is a holistic practice that connects the mind, body and breath. It improves overall health by purifying the body.

The physical practice of asanas helps improve flexibility, breathing capacity and strengthens the body through movement. It also contributes to balance and concentration. Pilates exercises help build a strong core, strengthening the body and allowing you to perform yoga transitions and postures safely. These two practices combined provide the stability that allows for fluid yoga movements.

As a general rule, a yogalates class consists of a warm-up with floor movements, Pilates exercises, stretching exercises, followed by more challenging standing poses and yoga sequences. Upon request, we can also incorporate meditation.

Always ending with a 10 mn of total relaxation of the body, leading to the complete release of muscles, skin and nervous system where the body is completely passive but where the mind stays alert and present. A state of interior calm and peace is achieved, and an access to your inner space becomes possible.

You can book a private Yogalates class at home, where the focus will be on your personal and individual needs, taking into account any physical issues you may have and in line with your level of experience.
